In Portugal, we picked up two MS patients from a remote location and flew them for treatment in Lisbon.
In most countries, MS is treated at specialized centers located only in major cities. During our mission we wanted to draw attention to the difficulties many people with MS have in reaching treatment centers, particularly in light of their motor disabilities.
